Compassion is a Christian Charity that’s very close to our heart at Eb. There are a number of children sponsored by folk in the church in projects all over the world and we also have a particular link with the project in Ecuador. On top of the sponsorship by individuals we have from time to time raised money with offerings and concerts etc.
For some time now, Mike Williams (my son-in-law), has had the idea of a sponsored walk along the Taff Trail in aid of Compassion. Mike has started a blog to keep people informed of developments. It’s available here. I know what you’re thinking but at least he hasn’t taken up the banjo yet.
To be serious, there is still no news on the two sponsored children (Anderson and Angela) from the earthquake zone in Haiti. The latest news from Compassion is here and you can give a gift here.
