On the first Sunday of the month after the evening service we have Exodus. I’m not referring to the rush to get home and watch the X Factor on TV but the time of praise and worship that’s run by the young people. The name comes from Exodus 8:1 “Then the LORD said to Moses, “Go to Pharaoh and say to him, ‘This is what the LORD says: Let my people go, so that they may worship me.”
Last Sunday was a precious time; there was some ‘full on’ praise followed by a testimony from Hannah. The second half consisted of more praise and worship and there was opportunity for young people to pray for each other.
I’m sure that for many it marked a turning point in their lives but one event stands out, a young person who has been considering the Christian faith for some time, committed their life to Christ.
“Our God is a God who saves” (Psalm 68:20). Awesome!
