Some more thoughts on the Vine Weekend.
The vine weekend was great time to get away with friends and draw closer to God. While we were there amongst playing Tetris friends, looking at the lovely views and seeing the recording studios, where many famous people recorded their albums. We also played spoons as well as other card related games and in general having a laugh. While there we all really got closer to God by studying the book of Colossians, doing a chapter a night.
I personally learned a lot about how we are valued by God and how he is the one and only God and how we should set our eyes on him. The worship and talks were great and it was just a fun, exciting weekend to spend with friends but most all with God. I will leave you with one line, as the great blogger himself always says “Go with God my friends”.
Hello, I once again introduce myself as a dedicated follower of this magnificent blog. One marvels at such perfection of writting and a clear touch of sensitivity in the most delicate of matters. thoughtsfromtudi.wordpress.com could never truly reach such levels of brilliance and so I’m privileged to write alongside such an established blogger. Anyway, down to business.
As always, the weekend was a great opportunity to focus on God and to be generally encouraged. However, to say that the weekend was merely a time for an emotional boost would be far from true. The challenge to ‘give ourselves’ entirely to God could hardly be seen as an easy thing as seen to a certain extent when we (or at least I) returned. However, God has played an amazing role in the last week, improving our relationship with both himself and others. Obviously we’re a ‘working progress’ but last weekend was deffinitely a step forward.
So yes, joy enveloped me on hearing the news that I would once again have the oppotunity of writting for such a highly estemed blogger. However, such joy never will compare to the love of Jesus in our hearts. Hallelujah brother! With that I say Amen.
So, so wise.
